AD: Ok……….. Yeah I have the file here. And I’m looking at November Victor, is that the one?

AD: Alright, well, what’s your read on this? Is it reliable? cause I haven’t seen anything about it previously and I would have thought for sure that we would have seen something about it. So uh……. what’s your take here? What’s the reliability of the target?

SM: Honestly sir? I don’t think it’s hair brained. Every other ship that entered the AO has weighed anchor there, so it’s not crazy.

AD: Ok, well…. I don’t hate the plan myself, but that SA-5, and the SA-2. It’s risky as all hell. I mean….

SM: Sure

AD: We’'ll just get the guys out there and they’ll get picked right outta the sky. I don’t even think the 16s can pull SEAD for these things right?

SM:Uhhhh… for the… 2.. They can for the 2 They don’t have a table for the 5 sir.

AD: Right, and this is ignoring the whole set of….. yeah they have grumbles right?

SM: So… yeah that’s what we thought but the RQ-2 came back negative on that. So now we’re uh… we’re reevaluating that.

AD: If it was a situation where it was contributing more than….. I mean you look at the what’s launching out of there. We’d be dropping A bombs to take out peashooters.

SM: Was worried you’d ask about Beslan.

AD: Yeah you saw this coming. Any luck getting SEAD assets committed?
SM: Sir, this is multi faceted for me, because the only thing I can push there are the 16s, and I need my 16s at Sochi. Meanwhile, and I think you remember the first time we all had this conversation the French ASSURED me the Mirages could handle the SEAD role. That didn’t need us at all, so we didn’t plan on it.

AD: Oh I remember, and get this. They want us to commit 15’s now.

SM: Yeah they’re on something sir, There’s. No. There is no way in hell I can commit 15s to that airspace. Especially not when we have troops right outside Tuapse.

SM: It’s Breakout?

AD: They just sent a runner from the CVIC. It’s a projected 7 Frigates, 3 Cruisers and 1 potential Orlan

SM: Oh jesus.

AD: Captain, if that’s an Orlan I want it sunk. Now I’m gonna have VP-11 rig the ships. I want you to start working on a modified attack plan, to sink them if the pull into November.

SM: Aye Aye Sir.

AD: How fast can you have them ready to present to NAVCENT?

SM: With modifications to our original. Sir I don’t know. I don’t want to risk anything with an Orlan. can you give me 3 days plan time, and we’ll be spun up by then?

AD: They’re bustering out of Sevastapol so I can give you 2. We still need to run this up for approval.

SM: OK, well. Shit. Yeah I can make 2 work

AD: I’ll have the CVI route you what comes in.
