Could my eyes decieve me? Do we indeed have a new logo? Did the cheap bastard in charge of this air wing force an artist at gunpoint to draw a new patch?

Indeed Ladies and Gentlemen, we do in fact have ourselves a new CVW-20 logo. I like it quite a bit. It’s a departure from our original design, that manages to be unique while also managing to pay homage to the original CVWR-20 logo it’s based off of. I’m sure you’ve all guessed what this means for the Squadron: Merch, Merch, Merch! That’s right, we already have about 6 different things we’re planning on releasing. We were just waiting for a professional looking enough patch. The fact is: A patch isn’t what makes us the best simulation group there is, but we should be able to wear our patches with pride. I think our low quality transitional patches made that difficult, and I wanted to have a design that when you go out and wear a CVW-20 T-shirt in public, you feel proud to wear it.

Spaceman

THE Founding member of CVW 20. Spaceman started VFA-634 in a Naval Station Great Lakes Barracks. After exiting the Navy, Spaceman continued his career in Baltimore working for a US Defense Contractor. Spaceman will never avoid an opportunity to give his two cents on any topic regarding Aircraft, the 80’s, Flight Sims, Spaceflight, or National Defense.
